Delete your Parichay account

Last updated: September 2026

This page is for people who use the Parichay app, published by Pixel Pundit (ABN 89 110 117 979). You can delete your account and personal data yourself in the app, or ask us to do it by email.

Delete it in the app

  1. Open Parichay and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  4. Read the confirmation and tap Delete.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. If you have a booking with money still in progress (a deposit held, or a payout not yet released), the app will tell you what to finish first, then you can delete.

Cannot get into the app?

Email privacy@parichay.com.au from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my Parichay account". We will confirm it is you and respond within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your profile details: name, email, phone number and profile photo. You can no longer sign in.
  • Photos you uploaded: profile photo, provider portfolio images and images you sent in chats
  • Your messages. Where a booking record has to be kept (see below), your messages on it are removed from it.
  • Reviews you wrote or received
  • Open booking requests, which are cancelled

What is kept, and for how long

  • Records of paid bookings and payments are kept, anonymised, for up to 7 years, as required by Australian tax law.
  • Anonymised, aggregated data may be retained for analytics.
  • Provider identity documents and liveness selfies go directly to our verification partner, Didit, and are never held by us. See section 4 of the Privacy Policy.
